A 60-day voyage circling the Australian Coast is being halted following the fatal incident of an older female passenger who was abandoned by the cruise liner on a distant coastal location.

The passenger had been walking on Lizard Island with other travelers from the cruise ship, but broke off from the group for a pause. The liner left without her and went back later that day after the crew realised the passenger was unaccounted for.

A large-scale hunt located her person the next day.
